Our focus is creating the best tacos possible to showcase Mexico’s vast culinary heritage using the very best of the UK’s fresh produce. This is an exciting opportunity for potential chefs to learn the craft of these centuries old techniques and dishes in a challenging and supportive new role.

Summary

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Line Cook / Chef de Partie to join our passionate and focused Kitchen Brigade, who embody our passion for food providence, quality and attention to detail at this ambitious new restaurant.

Main Responsibilities

  • Ensure your station is set and ready for service
  • Carry out all cleaning duties allocated in accordance with the unit cleaning schedule
  • Carry out food prep
  • Monitor stockholding of perishable items delegated, and rotate stock effectively
  • Adhere to all Company and contract rules and regulations
  • Work with a sense of urgency and with attention to detail

Candidate Profile:

  • Someone with a desire and passion to cook Mexican food
  • Basic knife skills essential
  • Must have a positive and enthusiastic attitude towards learning and increasing your skills and knowledge

Desired Experience

  • In depth training will be given for this position however experience in a similar role is a plus
