ABOUT LED COMMUNITY LEISURE

As a multifaceted company we present an exciting opportunity for a Lifeguard Team Leader.

THE IMPACT YOU WILL HAVE:

The Lifeguard Team Leader is instrumental in our facility’s smooth operation, overseeing lifeguard team recruitment, training, and compliance. They serve as a key link between lifeguards and management, ensuring effective communication and Skillgate compliance. Their daily role involves pool supervision, team leadership, maintaining safety standards, and enhancing customer experience. They also assist in facility maintenance, customer service, and attend management meetings. This position offers growth potential, including relief duty management.


WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

The ideal candidate will possess a current R.L.S.S. National Pool Lifeguard Qualification or demonstrate the ability to attain it with provided training upon starting. They should showcase practical experience aligning with the key responsibilities outlined for this role and exhibit a minimum of 2 years’ experience within the Leisure Industry. Additionally, a proactive approach to occasional non-standard hours, coupled with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team, is essential.

Moreover, the candidate should demonstrate proficient IT skills to effectively manage operational requirements. Desirable qualifications include a First Aid Certificate, previous supervisory experience, and expertise in Pool Plant Operations. Bringing these additional skills and experiences to the role would significantly enhance the candidate’s ability to excel in this position, fostering a safe and efficiently run leisure facility. This role is a stepping stone with the potential to develop your career up to a Duty Manager, Department Manager and beyond.
