You will work under your own initiative and with the guidance of your Team Leader, to achieve OTIF deliveries: Right First Time and within the allocated hours, to all clients.

Create an efficient workflow through the department, where components requiring gluing and assembly can be batch produced and stored successfully, if necessary until they are required.

Work together with your colleagues to successfully achieve the daily requirements, as set by your Team Leader.

Training will cover use of the equipment, including the Management Information System. The applicant will learn how to achieve and maintain quality, as well as understanding quality systems already in place within the Life Art department.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

No Qualifications needed but experience within a busy environment is essential and attention to detail is critical.

  • Gluing machine training desirable but not essential
  • Organised with good personal time-management skills
  • Determined and resilient
  • Committed with a good work ethic
  • Team player and able to work under own initiative
  • Proactive – anticipating change and consequences, as well as reactive and responsive to last minute demands
  • Patient and keen to learn
  • Confident and with a flexible attitude toward working hours, recognising the requirement to stay until a task is completed (overtime will be required throughout busy periods)
