The purpose of this role is to assist in the provision and promotion of high-quality knowledge and library services for students, staff and other stakeholders in order to support education, training and research. The post holder will be an integral member of the Library team whilst completing their Library, Information and Archive Services Assistant Level 3 Apprenticeship. Duties and responsibilities will be supported through on the job training and supervision, participation at relevant internal/external training sessions provided by the school and your Training provider and workplace assessments. This is a full-time role and will give you an excellent start to your professional librarianship career. You will be given one paid study day per week in a fully funded, 18-month apprenticeship course which aligns with professional recognition of Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals (CILIP).
