Hours: 30 per week 8:00am – 3.10pm Monday to Friday term time only

Salary: WMAT Grade WA3 Actual £12,515 - £14,921 (FTE £17,457 - £20,443)

Our client is a secondary school set in beautiful grounds in Haslemere, just off the A3. They are seeking to appoint a Lesson Cover Supervisor to support the teaching staff and provide class supervision when a teacher is absent. This role plays an important role in the school cover system and is an ideal opportunity for someone who is potentially looking at teaching as a future career as it will enable valuable in-class experience. Alternatively, it would suit someone who is keen to work with young people and become an integral part of the school community.

Cover supervisors work with pupils but will not be required to do preparation, planning or marking. Other duties may include accompanying school trips (when necessary) and exam invigilation. When not covering lessons some general administrative tasks may be undertaken. Full training and induction will be provided.

If you have the ability to encourage pupils to learn, have experience in behaviour management and can work flexibly during the course of the year, the school would like to hear from you.
