We are looking for a Leisure Assistant / Lifeguard who will thrive in a busy Leisure Centre to support our swimming pool and gym facilities.

Please note this role has a varied shift pattern: 06.45-15.00 or 15.00-22.30 in 2 week work patterns with alternate weekends off.

Main duties of the job

To safeguard swimmers who make use of the swimming pool at the Frank Lee Centre and to carry out emergency rescues, First Aid and CPR, if required, and exercising considerable vigilance when on poolside.

To supervise the gym when necessary and safeguard the members who use the fitness facilities.

Train and become efficient within all areas of the Centre.

Essential criteria

    Numerate and literate.

    Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.

Experience

    Experience of using IT packages Previous relevant experience.
