Main duties of the job

The Legal Services Manager will be responsible for effectively managing a dedicated caseload of legal matters (clinical negligence, personal injury, inquests, Court of Protection) and maintain essential deadlines by prioritising the workload to ensure that the Health Board meets all requirements such as the Civil Procedure Rules, Coronial law and other processes which apply.

Communication with internal Health Board departments and external bodies such as the Welsh Risk Pool, Legal and Risk Services, the Police and claimant solicitors, is an essential part of the role.
