ABOUT THE ROLE

Lightfoots LLP are looking for a Legal Finance Assistant to join their busy and friendly finance team in Thame, Oxfordshire. The role will be supporting the whole team to ensure the smooth and effective running of the department.

ABOUT THE TEAM

The Finance Team consists of Legal Cashiers and Legal Finance Assistants, who work with and report to the Head Cashier & Finance Team Manager. The team work together to support each other in a fast paced, busy environment providing the firm with a stable accounting function.

KEYRESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contacting bank with queries and cheque cancellations
  • Office administration
  • Issuing cheques
  • Processing banking transactions
  • Processing of bills
  • This role will build on the above to incorporate further duties as experience and learning increases

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Previous administration experience within a finance environment would be beneficial
  • Accuracy particularly when working with numbers & attention to detail is essential
  • Methodical approach to work
  • Excellent communication face to face, telephone and written
  • Proficient IT skills - Word, Excel
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Able to work as part of a team
