Hours: Full-time 35 hoursWe are looking for a professionally qualified individual who has practice experience and a genuine desire to help educate and train the next generation of social workers. Above all, we are looking for someone who understands the impact that their work will eventually have in the lives of many service users. The person must be conscientious, dedicated, hard working and able to cope well under pressure.This post is on a Teaching pathway although consideration will be given to applicants who express an interest in the research pathway. The Academic Career Pathways (ACP) scheme is designed to ensure that academic strengths whether in research, teaching, the wider student experience, leadership or innovation and engagement, are all appropriately recognised, developed, valued, and rewarded. Further information is available here. These provide indicative performance levels for all academic staff which will be used in the recruitment process as well as for internal academic promotion. Where there are numeric indicators these will be considered in light of the stage of career, hours of work and other commitments.
