The vacancy

Come and join our Performing Arts team. We are wanting to recruit an enthusiastic and versatile programme tutor to be involved with the delivery of the Performing Arts qualifications.


What you’ll be doing…


  • It is essential that the candidates possess comprehensive knowledge of Performing Arts and can be flexible in their teaching across Acting, Musical Theatre and Dance.
  • The successful candidate must be able to teach across a range of programmes at levels 2, 3 and 4, and be involved in curriculum development and employer engagement to enhance provision.


You must have…


You should be qualified to at least Degree level or similar in a related area and ideally have experience in the Performing Arts sector.


Applicants should also possess a level 4 teaching qualification or be willing to / working towards this.


Experience of assessment and quality assurance practises would be desirable.

This position is part time - 4 days per week - days TBC

£27,753 - £36,189 pro rata per annum

Let’s Teach The LET’s teach programme supports new members of teaching staff in terms of college systems and key teaching and learning areas including new staff lesson visits and postcard peeps. Each new member of staff has an allocated Lead Practitioner who works closely with them throughout the programme.

Let’s Bloom
The LET’s Bloom Programme aims to connect our experienced and qualified teachers to share best practice and support continued risk-taking as we continue to add depth to our teaching craft. Teachers volunteer on this one year programme, working closely with the Learning Enhancement Team, capturing their experimentation in a journal.
