Fixed term post until 31 May 2022 or earlier/later if required by the period of maternity cover

The Directorate of Professional, Creative and Service Industries have an opportunity for an inspiring, dynamic and committed Lecturer of Health and Social Care to join the team.

The successful candidate will deliver inspiring teaching and learning to learners and ensure that our learners are supported to succeed with a focus on monitoring progress, ensuring target grades are met and that all learners achieve to the best of their ability.

Vocational work experience in a Health and Social Care service sector background would be an advantage. The ability to teach across a range of related subjects within the Health and Social Care area from level 1 to level 3 is essential.

Possession of a teacher training qualification would also be an advantage however a willingness to work towards a teaching qualification would be acceptable for the right applicant.
