  • A strong record in attracting funding for research, or demonstrate potential to attract such funding

The Graduate School of Education (GSE) is one of the UK’s leading centres for educational research and teaching. GSE was ranked as a top ten institution (THES) in the 2014 REF and, with a large and innovative portfolio of national and internationally focused postgraduate taught and research programmes, it is extremely well placed to thrive over the coming years. A 2017 OFSTED inspection re-affirmed GSE’s status as an ‘outstanding’ provider of initial teacher education and training and it is currently enacting ambitious plans for the development of both its research and teaching programmes. We welcome colleagues who seek to promote and maintain a collegial working atmosphere and academically stimulating environment that will be attractive to and supportive of fellow academic and professional service staff and research students.
