Salary: From £28,419 - £40,538 per annum,

subject to a progression criteria

Contract: MC Lecturer, Full-Time, Permanent

Hours: 37 per week

Teaching Hours: 864 per annum

Annual Leave: 45 per annum plus statutory Bank Holidays

About the College

• Middlesbrough College is the largest General Further Education College in the Tees Valley and has been situated in Middlehaven, Middlesbrough, since 2008. It has developed from the initial main site to the vibrant campus that is now in place with our Campus Heart, dedicated Sixth Form, STEM Centre, Higher Education Centre, and further development for our apprentices in progress.

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Lecturer in Business and Professional Skills.

Lecturers at the College plan and deliver a wide range of challenging, relevant learning and work experiences that ensure all learners can develop and apply the skills, knowledge, behaviours, and attitudes required for the 21st Century learning, life, and work.

The successful candidate will:

• To be a qualified Teacher or willing to work towards.

• To hold a relevant Degree qualification or equivalent.

• GCSEs at Level 4/Grade C or above in English and Maths, or equivalent.

• Current knowledge and / or experience of teaching Business.
