The Department of Geography and Planning is recruiting a Lecturer in Biogeochemical Cycles to deliver teaching, impact and research. You should demonstrate an ability to conduct relevant, internationally excellent research and undertake teaching in the broad areas of Biogeography, contemporary Biogeochemical processes and/or terrestrial nutrient cycling (C, N and P). The candidates research should strongly match the interests of Environmental Change Research Group (https://www.liverpool.ac.uk/geography-and-planning/research/environmental-change/about/). You should have a strategy for attracting external research funding and experience of undertaking research that has impact. Our research facilities support a wide range of analytical, sampling and survey techniques across environmental change research (https://www.liverpool.ac.uk/geography-and-planning/facilities/). We are committed to the development of cross-cutting research themes and lead in the Universitys Climate Futures and Digital priority research themes. We are interested in interdisciplinary researchers who may connect to other research groups across the School (https://www.liverpool.ac.uk/environmental-sciences/research/). We particularly welcome applications from scholars who identify with groups who continue to be underrepresented and who face barriers to inclusion in higher education and/or who are from Majority World or any related diaspora.
