Woodcroft Primary School is an exciting place to work, where no one day is the same as another. Broadening the curriculum for our children and giving them unique experiences is a key aspect of our school week. We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic LSA to support children within class across the primary setting. You will work closely with the class teacher to provide an appropriate curriculum and interventions for children with specific needs.

The successful candidate will need to:

  • Have a sense of humour and be a positive influence for our children’s learning
  • Have high expectations of learning and a range of behaviour strategies
  • Be able to develop good working relationships with children
  • Be patient and calm
  • Have the ability to work with the class teacher and support a child to access a range of learning
  • Have previous experience of working with children within a school setting
  • Prepare appropriate resources to meet the needs of the children
  • Be able to work as part of a team
  • Have 5 GCSEs including Maths and English
  • Able to work independently with initiative
  • Be competent in the use of ICT
  • Be flexible to work across a range of Year Groups
