£17000 to £18000 per annum

The School and Role

We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to work full-time in our client SEMH school in Scunthorpe. The position starts as soon as possible and is permanent. This position would suit someone with experience supporting secondary students and a solid curriculum knowledge and a resilient and nurturing disposition. Our friendly client school are a smaller school that are part of a larger federation and have opportunity to staff for development. The role involves supporting a KS4 student with their studies on a 1-1 basis in their lessons so someone who is quick to build relationships is necessary. The students have Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs so an understanding of trauma and induced behaviours is necessary.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Learning Support Assistant you will:
  • Have recent experience supporting students with SEND needs
  • Have great organisation and communication skills.
  • Be passionate about making a difference in the classroom.
  • Work well in a team.
