Milk Education are looking to recruit a SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join an outstanding special school in Bury. The school caters to children between the ages of 3-12, with ASD and other SEN.

This is an excellent opportunity for anybody wanting to build their experience working alongside special needs pupils, and trials will be offered to candidates ASAP.

Your role as an SEN Learning Support Assistant will involve:

  • Supporting children with special needs including PMLD, ASD and complex needs.
  • Assisting the classteacher by taking part in classes and specific pupils 1:1 and in small groups.
  • May include some personal care (feeding, changing requirements)
  • Some experience working with SEN children and/or issuing personal care
