About the Role

Base Location: Perth or Thatcham, however other SSE office locations may be considered.

Salary: £26,609 - £30,472 + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

Working Pattern: Fixed Term Contract or Secondment (12 months) | Full Time Time | Flexible First options available

As Learning Services Co-ordinator you’ll play a key role in providing effective administrative support to the Learning and Development team to ensure the learning service provided runs effectively. In this role, you will:

  • Support coordination, planning and scheduling of all training courses to meet training needs of key business areas.
  • Work with SSE IT Systems, in particular Harmony, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Develop an understanding of the training requirements for the business areas you will manage, building and maintaining relationships with key contacts.
  • Prepare high quality reports conveying complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Gain knowledge and experience of budget control for the business areas you will manage and complete relevant legal, compliance and regulatory obligations.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

  • Strong communication skills and a passion to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Proficient user of IT systems such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook etc.
  • Flexible and the ability to manage your own workload whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong disciplined, analytical approach to information gathering and problem solving
  • Previous experience of providing administration in a learning and development environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
