THE OPPORTUNITY

  • System management, roadmap and user experience
  • Utilising expert knowledge of enterprise wide learning management systems and their capabilities to support the maintenance and day to day management of the LMS working alongside the Senior Learning Hub Advisor, in particular, with knowledge to troubleshoot technical queries.
  • Lead a number of works steams identified as part of our internal roadmap.
  • Complete activities, deliver and project manage outcomes associated with individual work streams within the roadmap.
  • Collaborate with the vendor to ensure our roadmap goals are achieved using existing and future functionality.
  • Engage and collect relevant data and feedback from stakeholders in the business relating to activities identified in the roadmap.
  • Work closely with the IT Team to ensure we are connected on the outcomes of those work streams where we require expert IT knowledge and engage them in any relevant work or testing including understanding associated dependencies.
  • Take part or lead elements of the working group meetings to ensure we are engaging with our stakeholders and meeting expectations and aligning with our learning systems strategy.
  • Manage and produce communication materials as required, including delivering presentations to stakeholders, leading focus groups and influencing confidently across a range of stakeholder groups.
  • Through use of technical knowledge and experience, develop governance processes and procedures that support the LMS roadmap.
  • Input to the overall design of the user experience in the LMS, working closely with the Digital Learning Team and other key stakeholders.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Day to day management of the LMS (Learning Hub), ensuring the system functionality is utilised to ensure the best user experience whilst supporting the firm’s learning strategy.
  • Lead on a number of work streams within the LMS roadmap, delivering to agreed outcomes.
  • Work closely with the vendor account and customer relationship team to ensure roadmap outcomes are delivered but also that any cases raised are managed in line with SLA’s.
  • Manage end user and administrator queries, providing clear and accurate advice to users.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in the day to day management of an enterprise-wide LMS through an in-house role, including management of an internal roadmap.
  • Working experience of Cornerstone or at least one other enterprise-wide LMS.
  • Likely to have 5+ years’ experience working with LMS which will also include system implementations. Expert knowledge of LMS and experience in troubleshooting issues.
  • Curious about how systems work and how they can be utilised to support learning and business goals.
  • Experienced at working with vendors to drive performance against SLA’s but also industry response times. Able to create a proactive and collaborative working relationship to support and enable business goals.
  • Experience of working in a high performing culture, likely to be in a Corporate or PSF environment.
  • Experience of leading a community of system administrators, creating in-house training solutions to support their ongoing development.
  • Able to motivate and engage a community of system administrators, creating super user groups who can coach and train others.
  • Expert in project management (likely hold PRINCE 2 certification)
  • Expert using Microsoft Excel to manipulate data and for reporting purposes.
  • Excellent time management skills, utilised efficiently to drive results.
  • Ideally degree educated with a strong interest or background in analysing data.
  • IT systems background would be desirable
  • Experience of managing and influencing end users and stakeholders – able to push back confidently, suggesting appropriate solutions which manage any system risk.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
