This is an exciting opportunity for an L&D Professional to join a busy, evolving businesses that is experiencing exponential growth year on year.
This role will be very varied, thinking outside the box and getting hands on. We are looking for a forward thinking, collaborative individual to support the implementation and management of a first class learning platform, development of the company’s induction and design & enhance training toolkits across our operational teams!
There are many projects to be involved in developing, supporting and leading to support in your own career progression, from employee engagement to new system building and implementation across the business!
Key responsibilities:
- Support the design, create and implement company training platforms in line with the People Strategy aligned to the wider Business Strategy
- Develop an Induction programme with key stakeholders and the HR leads to deliver an exceptional onboarding journey, ensure all mandatory training requirements are met in accordance with governing bodies, client and company requirements.
- Partner with key functional leads in the development of training materials and competency sessions against SOP’s, policies, process, and systems; being seen as the subject matter expert in learning and development and making appropriate recommendations for best practice
- Support the development and maintenance of the Company’s LMS and other business systems.
- Design and Develop training toolkits linked to individual roles and accountability levels within the business
- Identify and develop new learning initiatives i.e learning tools, blended learning solutions
- Ensure Training costs and records maintained, and the LM system has accurate and up to date information
Qualifications Needed:
- Degree or postgrad qualifications are desirable.
- CIPD qualification is desirable
- Equivalent demonstrable experience
Personal Skills & Qualities:
- Designing and implementing a training platform, engaging inhouse training materials and internal leadership programmes.
- Experience in project management and delivery.
- Self motivated and dedicated with a committed approach.
- Proactive and motivated responding positively to new challenges.
- Computer skills.
- Creative thinking to ensure engaging learning content for all learning styles.

Salary: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

- Swadlincote: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
