We’re currently recruiting for a Learning and Development Manager to have responsibility for the development, implementation and management of the technical training/core skills agenda across the Construction business stream.

Location: Flexible with travel required across our Construction regions
Contract: Permanent, full-time - flexible and part-time hours will be considered

Responsibilities

In this Learning and Development Manager role, you will work collaboratively with our senior stakeholders to create a training framework detailing the core skills required within the Construction business stream. You’ll create course materials to support the development of our internal colleagues today and in the future and deliver in-person and online training sessions. You’ll own the process for professional accreditations within career paths i.e ICE, RICS, CIOB and keep up-to-date with industry developments to support existing and emerging skills for the future. This role will also involve measuring the effectiveness of learning and development to ensure alignment to the business needs and ensuring we have a joined-up approach to support the technical training across the business.

Who are we looking for?

A L & D practitioner with proven experience in delivering business wide training initiatives. You’ll have a passion for developing people and an ability to influence, empower and motivate stakeholders across all levels. We’re looking for previous experience in Technical Training delivery to drive the technical capabilities of our high performing teams and good knowledge of external trends to ensure value is maintained in the future. Previous experience or knowledge of professional development and membership is essential.
