rradar is a ground-breaking litigation and commercial law firm that uses legal privilege and expertise with digital tools to proactively educate, manage, advise and deliver business solutions to reduce business and legal risk.

Our mission is to educate and empower businesses through smarter legal services. We represent a wide range of clients, from small owner-managed businesses to national charities and large multi-national corporates.

As the company embarks on the next phase of significant growth, we recognise the parallel need to further invest in our talented people, supporting their development and career progression to ensure rradar’s continued success. As such, we are very excited to be creating a brand new role of L&D Manager in the HR team, reporting to the People Director.

*
The Role*

This role is central to our people strategy. Working closely with the People Director and broader HR team, you will be responsible for creating and owning the rradar academy, our Learning & Development Framework.

This will be integrated with our culture and values, embracing all roles across the business, providing learning and development solutions from induction, through on-the-job development, to leadership capability and support in the creation and embedding of clear career paths.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an L&D professional, from a professional services background, experienced in building L&D frameworks and training delivery, to develop solutions from the ground up.

We’re looking for someone who is self-sufficient and prepared to roll their sleeves up to get this off the ground, with longer term potential to grow out a team around them. You’ll work in partnership with the business to drive a culture of continuous professional development, facilitating and embedding positive culture and change initiatives.

*
Qualifications and experience*

You’ll need to demonstrate significant experience in a professional L&D capacity within a professional services environment, with examples of building out learning & development frameworks and delivering a range of development interventions.

Qualifications in L&D strategy, learning design and coaching / facilitation would be advantageous.

You will have a proven track record in delivering a significant contribution to the people strategy and implementing and embedding learning strategies in fast-growing organisations:

*
supporting culture and change initiatives.

  • developing and supporting business leaders and managers, coaching and supporting through change.

You’ll display strong business and commercial acumen with a proactive, solution-oriented approach to work, alongside strong organisational skills and attention to detail. You’ll be a highly effective communicator and have cultural awareness, with the ability to translate this into coaching and facilitation.

*
Agile working*

rradar recognises the importance of in-person culture and the value of collaboration and cross-team learning within and across the business. It helps drive our innovation, service and product development for our clients.

With this in mind, we have now introduced fully agile working, where our people will be able to decide which days they attend the office “with purpose”, taking into consideration the needs of the business, clients, partners and the team.
