Learning & Development Coordinator

Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 per annum, Grade 4

Based: Stockton, England

Real Life Options are seeking an energetic and self-motivated person to work with our learning and Development Manager to progress and support the delivery of the organisations regular induction events for all new employees.

You will provide excellent administration support to drive staff learning, growth, performance, and engagement, whilst ensuring that all staff are provided with appropriate levels of learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain L&D systems and procedures to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the department
  • Liaise with operations to book training for staff teams, using operational and L&D data
  • Liaise with training providers to book training and communicate to operations
  • Book any travel and accommodation associated with attending training
  • Coordinating the development and delivery of the organization wide regular induction events for all new employees, ensuring the content is reviewed and updated continually in line with feedback received
  • To support the Learning and Development Manger within projects as and when needed
  • Effectively monitor the apprenticeship levy fund to ensure the organisation gain full benefits of the scheme
  • To use effective communications across a variety of platforms in order to promote L&D and increase the level of engagement received from employees
  • To maintain an accurate invoice record
  • To issue learning agreements to employees as and when needed

Successful Candidate will have

  • A strong learning and development background
  • Experience of data analysis and reporting
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Identify and meet work objectives and work to agreed deadlines.
  • Use IT to communicate and process information.
  • A good team ethic
  • Strong organisation and administration skills
  • High levels of accuracy and diligence
  • A good pro-active attitude to all tasks
