Iconic Resourcing HR are delighted to partner with the University of the West of Scotland in their search for a Talent & OD Specialist to play a key role in the delivery of the workplace engagement provision. University of the West of Scotland (UWS) is one of Scotland’s Higher Education’s most innovative modern universities. The University boasts 4 vibrant and impressive campuses across the West of Scotland as well as a campus in the busy Centre of London. This is an incredible opportunity to join the People & Wellbeing Team within the organisation and support the People Experience Manager with delivering an effective, engaging, and professional Learning & Development function.

You’ll have the opportunity to lead on programmes across the University, with a diverse stakeholder group. You will develop and deliver the University’s staff and management development, leadership and induction programmes using creative and innovative learning methodologies. You will be engaging and passionate about developing leadership capacity and capability and will work with managers to ensure that their style and practices are compatible with the organisation’s mission and values. In addition, we are looking for creative solutions to develop talent programmes to meet the needs of several critical roles.

To apply for this role, you’ll be credible and knowledgeable with specialist learning and talent experience and have a proven track record in the delivery of training and development to all levels. Strong facilitation and interpersonal skills are essential to the role, as is the ability to understand and interpret the training requirements of others. You will also possess an innovative approach to using various up to date learning intervention methodologies and the ability to design and deliver blended learning solutions. You’ll be comfortable with training needs analysis, design, delivery and evaluation.

You will be a team player with exceptional communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels. With drive, enthusiasm, and tenacity you will be accustomed to operating within a challenging and changing environment. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact and to further your personal development. Innovation, creativity, and strategic input will be welcomed in this role.

To apply for this role, please send your CV or contact Becky Taylor at Iconic Resourcing for a confidential chat and further details.
