Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 per year

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week

Contract Type: Permanent

We are looking for a passionate and hands-on Learning and Development Manager to join our team.

The purpose of the role is to act as the subject matter expert to drive the delivery of learning and development, talent development, initiatives within King Edward VII’s Hospital to drive high performance.

What will you be doing?

  • Full learning cycle of learning and development solutions to develop employees at all organisational levels,
  • Selection and relationship management of best in class third party providers.
  • Organise management and leadership development to support people leaders across the Hospital to drive performance of their teams in line with our values.
  • Focus on the development of career pathways, key skills and capability to drive high performance and build the talent pipeline.
  • Responsible for the continued development of the corporate induction process and supporting localised induction processes across the Hospital, focused on embedding values and behaviours.
  • Manage the external training budget.

Who are you?

  • Have experience in any sector in Learning and Development with a proven track record in leading the delivery of people projects. Healthcare experience would be a distinct advantage
  • Ability to build and maintain networks both internally and externally
  • Project Management, Communication, and Stakeholder Management skills
  • Self-starter with a proactive, enthusiastic and “hands-on” approach
  • Have Knowledge and experience of development and initiatives with the ability to drive continuous improvement of performance
  • Have experience working with external suppliers and partners
