Role Specification

Role Objective: Responsible for leading a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring all KPI’s and productivity levels are maintained in line with company targets, ensuring all health and safety regulations are adhered to.

Summary Of Role Responsibilities
  • Experience in leading and motivating staff.
  • Be an excellent communicator and motivator with the ability to delegate and empower teams to achieve.
  • Awareness of Health and Safety in the Warehouse.
  • The ability to lead your team to achieve KPI’s and objectives to ensure the site operates effectively and efficiently.
  • Ability to co-ordinate work and allocate resources amongst the team.
  • Experience in Warehouse Management Systems would be an advantage.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Willing to work in all area’s of the warehouse and prioritise as per operational requirements.
  • Commitment – sees the job through to completion.
  • Be able to cover the Supervisor role when required.

Essential

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

Experience in a Warehouse environment within a Distribution background.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Ability to co-ordinate works and allocates resources amongst team.
  • Commitment – sees the job through to completion.
Desirable
  • Experience in Warehouse Management Systems would be an advantage.
Essential

SKILLS/ ABILITIES
  • Team Leader skills, leading and motivating staff.
  • An awareness of Health and Safety in the warehouse.
