Lydiard Park has recently undergone a restructure and are recruiting a Lead Warden to assist the Estate Operations Manager to maintain the historic grounds to the highest standards and implement improvements in park management and visitor services to a complementary level. If you have extensive experience in a park open to the public, with considerable supervisory and management experience, experience in planning, coordinating, and implementing park maintenance schedules, preferably at historically and publicly sensitive sites we would like to hear from you.

You will hold appropriate professional and educational qualifications, at least HND or equivalent, in Countryside Management or a directly related field together with recognised qualifications in the use of brush cutters, and in the use of chainsaws, to include maintenance, cross cutting, felling over 380mm, sever uprooted/windblown trees and processing. You will also hold a full driving licence, and a full first aid qualification is preferred.

Candidates must be fluent in the English language (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act – for the effective performance of a customer-facing role).
