Role - Lead Software Engineer

Location - You choose whether you work remotely from anywhere in the UK, hybrid or entirely at the office in Hedge End, Southampton.

Salary / Headline Benefits - Total salary package of £80,000-£85,000, Healthcare, Gym Membership + more.

Most devs have developed scalable software, but not many have done it on a truly global level.

Deploying multiple apps with multiple languages, configurations, and brands brings a level of complexity that will make you a better developer.

You’ll lead teams on greenfield and complete system redesign projects as their 60+ person tech team migrate from a monolith to microservices, using modern tech like Kubernetes, Terraform, Azure DevOps and much more to do it.

These projects will have an immediate impact, with daily deployments and millions of eyeballs globally utilising the software.

You’ll do all this for a company that doesn’t cut corners, has massive growth plans and will give you everything you need to be successful.

You’ll have a tailored onboarding, training, and progression plan from day one, meaning their support will match your ambition.

You’ll work for one of Europe’s largest fitness companies, with over 500 sites already, helping them achieve their mission to bring affordable fitness to the whole world.

They are already the UK’s number one, established in Denmark, Switzerland, and Saudi Arabia; they’re now moving into the United Arab Emirates and the USA.

Here’s What You’ll Need

It’s a hands-on leadership role, and you’ll need to know your stuff when it comes to modern C# / .NET and writing automated unit and functional tests.

You’ll have two to three years of either technical leadership, mentoring or people leadership.

If you’re a full-stack developer, you’ll have experience with modern JavaScript / TypeScript libraries or frameworks like React.js, Vue.js, Svelte, SolidJS or Angular.
