Are you ready for a new opportunity? We have an exciting opportunity to join our Community Assessment and Treatment Service based at the East Brighton Community Mental Health Centre, Brighton General Hospital.

We are a large Multi-Disciplinary Team looking for a Registered Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker or other recognised allied professional, with experience of working with people with complex mental health conditions in a relevant setting.

This post offers a Golden Hello, or a Relocation package up to a maximum of £2000. (pro rata applies and subject to terms and conditions. Please see attached Protocol document).

  • You will be part of supportive multi-disciplinary team within the wider Assessment and Treatment Service. Our teams are made up of Consultant Psychiatrists, Mental Health Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, Psychologists, Support Workers, Admin, and Employment specialists
  • You will undertake comprehensive assessments, carry a manageable caseload and be part of the duty rota.
  • You will have a varied, fast paced and crucial role in supporting the patient journey. The role is highly rewarding but can at times be challenging with competing demands.
  • You will have access to monthly high-quality supervision from a clinical lead, as well as continuous frequent support on offer through multi-disciplinary meetings and other forums.
  • You will have access to, and be encouraged to attend, internal/external training opportunities to further develop your skills and experience in a community mental health setting.
  • You will be part of a friendly team who value staff wellbeing and morale with regular opportunities for coming together in informal ways
