Leads customer engagement to ensure that it meets all scope, time, budget and quality expectations, through planning, controlling and managing customer projects. Manages corporate, customer and third party vendor efforts to plan, sell and implement solutions to customer problems. Responsible for business as well as team management.

Activities are to enable and facilitate programme delivery and will include the following:
  • Maintenance of Implementation Plan (programme PID’s and charters)
  • Agility Tooling usage (aka Collabnet VersionOne)
  • AIR (Assumptions; Issues; Risks) review, management, and reporting
  • In-Flight Project tracking
  • Procurement Tracking
  • Resource management:
    • On/Off boarding of resources
    • Management resources and labour demands in gold source tool
    • demand tracking and reporting
  • 3rd Party Engagement & Mgmt
  • Schedule Mgmt. – milestone tracking, including monitoring and reporting on internal and external Dependencies
  • Change and Scope Mgmt. planning, tracking, and monitoring, including Change Management Controls, running and execution of the change control board that is jointly attended by the client and 3rd parties and DXC suppliers
  • Programme Increment support
  • Configuration Mgmt.
    • Using Confluence and Sharepoint of artefact published and created by the programme
    • Housing keeping of document libraries (programme workbook)
  • Quality Plan
  • Implementation Compliance Matrix
  • Cost Management
    • Finance Tracking & Forecasting
    • Milestone Tracking and client payment tracking
    • Actual spend reports, earned value reporting, Cost to Complete.
  • Communication Mgmt.
    • DXC internal and client external Reporting
    • Stakeholder identification and management
    • Collation and processing of inputs for governance and programme steering boards, including material preparation
The candidates should be self-motivated and self-propelling individuals with significant project management experience, skills and knowledge and will be able to demonstrate the ability to work with (both internally and externally) executives, leadership, key stakeholders and 3rd parties.

Additionally, the candidate should know and practice industry standard project management methods and apply tools and techniques in management areas as mentioned above and should hold an industry standard Project Management certification.

Specialised Skills
  • Currently holding SC level clearance or eligible to gain SC level security clearance
  • Laser focused "attention to details"
  • A “can-do” attitude
  • Previous project management duties, experience and knowledge are vital
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong team player, capable of working as part of a virtual and logical team and independently as circumstances dictate
  • Excellent MS Office skills e.g. Excel, Word, and Project
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Customer, partner, 3rd party and vendor management.
