Based at our Head Office in Wilmslow, there will be a requirement to provide support to our regional offices in London, Belfast, Cardiff and Edinburgh on a rotational basis at least once a month
Expected starting salary is £29,024. A salary up to £37,019 may be available for an exceptional candidate, plus pension and excellent benefits.

About the role*
At the forefront of our IT Help service – the primary purpose of the role is the completion of IT Help service desk activities critical to ensuring the consistent delivery of IT services to all ICO departments and staff. Tasks must be completed to agreed service levels, maintaining the security and integrity of the IT environment. This includes incident and change management, and the identification and implementation of change to improve the quality of the IT Service provided. Post holders will have responsibility for pro-actively developing and managing processes and procedures.

About you*
You will need at least 1-2 years’ relevant work experience, preferably in an IT service management role, with a level of technical ability and experience commensurate with the key responsibilities of this role. You therefore need to have the ability to create analytical reports encompassing incidents, problems, trends and analysis and proactively develop documentation and other media to embed into our ITSM knowledgebase.
A strong service orientated approach with a focus on delivery to business, planning and scheduling service delivery tasks. You will be able to work autonomously, to identify and implement service improvements.
You will have the knowledge and ability to manage third party IT service providers
