To act as a strategic HR Business Partner, translating organisational strategy into innovative, ambitious and creative people plans that deliver organisation success through an inclusive learning culture.
  • Acting as the strategic partner to the directorship you will translate organisational goals and craft innovative and ambitious people strategies with the HR / Recruitment BPs and the Centres of Excellence to deliver business outcomes.
  • Line management responsibility for HR Business Partners.
  • Provide strategic thought leadership to the directorship to deliver innovative and ambitious people strategies that create an inclusive learning culture that supports business strategy.
  • To lead a team of skilled HR professionals in a matrix system, with direct line responsibility for the HR Business Partners in your area.
  • To ensure the full suite of People activity (including Performance, Reward, Org Design, Talent Acquisition and Development, Change Management, Learning, Communications and Inclusion) is both understood and adopted by the business and meets the strategic aims of the business.
  • Provide thought leadership to HRBPs to create fluid people plans that align with the business requirements and deliver results.
  • Support and coach senior leaders in their development and the capability development of their business areas.
  • As a member of the HR SMT influence the overall People Strategy and senior leaders of the business to ensure it meets the business needs.
  • Lead change and support the alignment of team resources to enable delivery.
  • Influence senior leaders to ensure effective organisational development/change in line with wider business strategy.
  • Use insights from People MI to mitigate people risk and champion change.
  • Management and ownership of risk controls within their area.
