Lead Fibre Engineer -

I have a great opportunity for a Lead Fibre Engineer in Lancashire working for a great company who are going through a big growth and looking to get people on board to help the company.

The Lead Fibre Engineer role is to supervise the fibre teams on MDU builds, quality checking, overseeing fibre works, monitoring H&S, and making sure all work is done up to standards.

The Lead Fibre Engineer needs to have:
  • Experience supervising Fibre Installation gangs
  • Strong Knowledge of Fibre Network including PIA and MDU Builds
  • Experience of Splicing, OTDR, Installation
  • Manging H&S and Quality Checks
  • Willing to travel UK wide

Lead Fibre Engineer responsibilities include:
  • Monitor and supervise gangs of 3 to make sure everything is done up to standards and meets all requirements
  • Working alongside seniors to help drive performance, H&S requirements, liaise with Local Authorities

Qualifications:
  • NRSWA
  • SA001/2
  • PIA
  • IPAF

The package for this role:
£35k - £40k a year + Van and Fuel Card and other benefits
