Lead Chef - Term time only, No evenings, No weekends - Up to 27,000Are a chef looking for a work life balance?A prestigious college in the Ringwood area are looking to recruit a Lead Chef to work 7am - 3pm and support this large catering operation.Key info:
  • Salary: 25,000 - 27,000
  • Location: Ringwood
  • Hours: 40 hours per week, 39 weeks, Monday - Friday, 7am-3pm
Key Responsibilities of the role include:
  • Provide a friendly catering service, performing a variety of manual tasks associated with food production and service in the school
  • Preparation, cooking and presentation of food to agreed standards.
  • Help with preparation of food items and maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of kitchen
  • Work alongside the kitchen team
Required skills include:
  • A strong understanding of produce and ingredients
  • Experience of a variety of kitchen environments and cuisines
  • Knowledge of food production methods
  • Embrace new ideas and processes
  • Positive and approachable manner
In order to be successful, you’ll need to have:
  • Experience as a Lead / Head Chef - working in a similar environment
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • High Standards of hygiene
