Role Summary

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic individual to join our Skills and Excellence team. You will be responsible for managing the booking and progression of all employee examinations, the management and facilitation of the CPD programme and supporting with designing and writing material for training sessions when required. As you develop in the role, you will be expected to support with facilitation and delivery.

Specific duties include:

  • Booking and managing external examinations
  • Admin for Learning Management System
  • Supporting the Employee Experience & Skills and Excellence function for inductions, writing material and training requirements
  • Ensuring ongoing compliance with FCA Regulations and Principles in relation to training and competency in a regulated environment
  • Continual evidenced achievement of employees attaining competency and maintaining competency
  • Supporting with facilitation of training for all areas of the business

This list is not exhaustive, and the incumbent would be required to follow any reasonable management request to do additional duties and tasks.

Role Development

As the group grows the requirement to support within the Skills and Excellence department is imperative. We are seeking a driven person who will have an opportunity to grow under mentorship and will see their role develop over time.

The candidate should want to progress into a training delivery role, be confident in their delivery skills and have a strong work ethic.

Hours

37 per week Monday-Thursday 9am-5:30pm, Friday 9am-5pm

You may have to adapt these hours when delivering training and to suit business needs.

Role Requirements

Essential

  • Competent in Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint preferable)
  • Creative with an eagerness to develop skills
  • Proactive, organised and able to work independently
  • Proven ability to deliver accurate and timely reports and MI for senior stakeholders
  • Confident with excellent communication skills

Desirable

  • Experience of broking/lending in the mortgage market
  • Experience of broking/lending in the second charge market
  • Experience of broking/lending in the unsecured loan market
  • Knowledge of FCA Handbooks, specifically CONC and MCOB
  • Experience of using bespoke software
  • Proven self-development
  • Experience of delivering training and managing training schemes in a regulated environment
