Personal Injury Lawyer with experience working on serious injury cases sought on a full-time, permanent basis in Yorkshire.

This is an exciting opportunity for a solicitor or fellow of CILEx with a minimum of 8 years PQE and experience working on serious injury cases to join a growing firm either remotely or from their office in Yorkshire. The successful candidate will handle a caseload that involves complex issues and quantum, predominantly from RTA’s and will have a proven track record for business development.

Responsibilities

• Manage serious injury caseload
• Consult with relevant experts – medical experts, etc.
• Research into relevant liability, causation and quantum
• Drafting statements and pleadings
• Optimising settlements for clients
• Generate fee income
• Supervise more junior fee earners
• Provide mentoring and support to more junior team members
• Regular client meetings

The Candidate

• Qualified solicitor or fellow of CILEx with a minimum of 8 years’ PQE
• Experience working in serious injury cases is essential
• Previous experience managing/supervising a team is desirable
• Excellent communication and client care skills will be essential
• Able to manage tight deadlines whilst maintaining high level of accuracy
• Has the vision and ambition to grow a department
