Brockenhurst College is looking for a Law Lecturer to join our Humanities team in Brockenhurst College. You will join us on a permanent basis. working on a part time basis for a salary between £23,048 - £37, 582 (pro rata).

This is an exciting opportunity to coordinate and help grow our new BTEC Applied Law course. We currently have 1 Applied Law class but expect the role to grow for the following academic year.

We are a high-achieving college who attract around 2,800 sixth form students across the region each year. We are based within the stunning New Forest National Park and offer our students a huge range of courses and superb facilities.

What We Are Looking For In Our Law Lecturer
  • Undergraduate degree in law, legal studies, or a relevant subject.
  • A teaching qualification, or willing to work towards one.
  • Able to inspire and motivate learners.
  • Able to plan and deliver dynamic lessons that both inform learners and give learners a chance to practice their knowledge and skills.
  • Implement a variety of teaching techniques to ensure the curriculum has variety and works for all learners.
  • Specialist subject knowledge.
  • Understand the principles of assessment, teaching and learning.
  • Up to date IT skills including familiarity with MS Office packages, internet and e-mail
  • Effective team player
  • Evidence of working towards and achieving personal targets
  • Good administrative and organisational skills
  • Able to meet tight deadlines
