Safer Rig Servicespart of the RSK Grouphave an exciting opportunity for a Land Drilling Safety Trainer to join their team. Ideally the successful candidate will be based in the North of Englandas the role will be mainly on site.

Safer Rig Servicesoffers a high-quality, end-to-end solution for the complete management of drilling rig equipment and for the teams using it.

With a three-step approach, Safer Rig Services ensures that it provides a full complement of services that cover each area of rig maintenance, including personnel and training, safety and rig conditioning, legal compliance and assurance services.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Undertaking all aspects of land drilling safety training with operatives in the field or classroom environments
  • Assessing experienced drilling crews for annual competency assessments in the classification of machinery they are operating
  • Training and assisting new drilling assistants through onboarding processes
  • Inspecting safety critical equipment, including items defined by LOLER and PUWER
  • Auditing site activities in line with British standards and industry protocols

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Prior experience in the land drilling industry is required.
  • Some form of training experience required.
  • Train the trainer training will be given for courses delivered by the business
  • Industry recognised lifting equipment through examination qualification such as NPORS, LEEA ect will be required.
