We have an opening for a Labourer (Fitters Mate) to join our team. Working from the RNAS Culdrose site the successful post holder will fulfil the duties of a Facilities Labourer throughout the Merlin Depth Organisation, with the potential to become a Merlin Aircraft Fitters Mate (by Trade) or Off Aircraft Workshops Fitters Mate (by Trade) in accordance with Depth Operating Procedures (DOP), individual Authorisation Certificates and the Serco Management System (SMS). Facilities Labourers/Fitters Mates are responsible to their Line Manager/Supervisor for all Role activities.

Other Duties Will Include But Are Not Limited To

Ensure that the safety, health and clean work areas and environment is maintained, complying with the Royal Navy Support and the Serco Management System and all the regulatory engineering articles. All contracted tasks are to be carried out in accordance with current Customer Policy and Regulations and other applicable statutory and mandatory Regulations. You must undertake all further training courses necessary to their job are attended as required and as directed by their Line Management. It is important that you remain flexible and carry out any other tasks within their capabilities and experience in support of the Contract as directed by the Contract Director or their representative.

What You Need To Do The Job

The ideal candidate must be able to work a shift routine and be flexible. You must have a Full UK Driving Licence. You should have the ability to drive a forklift and meet the requirements of the job advertisement. You will be required to complete all Serco essential mandated training within the year. Must be able to hold the required security clearance level for site access and role activities.
