A new opportunity for a Biologics Laboratory Technician for a leading biotech company in Didcot, OX11, has just become available. This is a busy and interesting role, joining a well established and supportive team within a business that has a positive impact on Science and the wider World.

The role is a permanent position, ideally starting in the July/August. Working hours are Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:00.

The Laboratory Technician will be working in a team responsible for manufacturing DNA sequencing and expansion kits, specific duties include:

  • Manufacturing various components including reagents, buffers, polymers etc.
  • Adhering to strict GMP / GLP guidelines
  • Calibration of laboratory equipment
  • Following work instructions and completing relevant documentation as required

The ideal Laboratory Technician will be a positive team player with an understanding and interest in Biology or Chemistry. Ideally you will have some relevant laboratory experience in a related field and have some familiarity with GLP and GMP standards.
