The CAS UK Lab Manager propels a growing team with quality driven confidence and customer service excellence with the vision to be a top tier forensic service provider (FSP) offering a One Stop Shop for digital intelligence needs backed by UKAS 17025 accreditation.The CAS UK Lab Manager is responsible for all aspects of:
  • Management, leadership, and development of the CAS UK lab team to ensure team harmony, efficiency, revenue generation, and operational success
  • Lab operations team management including evidence intake, administrative case management, evidence dispatch, and all aspects of customer service relations to effectively handle prioritisation and maintain operational efficiency
  • Technical lab team management for evidence processing, including repair, unlocking, extraction, data verification, data analysis, and reporting activities
  • Quality management system implementation in close partnership with CAS Quality Manager
Specific Team Management Responsibilities Include
  • Managing personnel competency and qualifications in line with ISO 17025
  • Measuring performance of individuals and teams, while reporting UK key performance indicators (KPIs) and being accountable to CAS management
  • Overseeing personnel development, goal setting, evaluation, and assessment
  • Ensuring workplace compliance with Health and Safety Executive (HSE)
Job SummaryThe CAS UK Lab Manager expected to:
  • Deliver efficient, top-notch services to our lab customers, while constantly defining, refining, measuring and reporting relevant KPIs
  • Be the UK CAS team’s trusted “go-to-person” as the experienced, qualified management expert for internal guidance and customer service excellence
  • Own all HR aspects for the recruitment, development, and performance management of the best talent to propel the future growth of the UK flagship CAS lab
  • Assist with the revision and implementation of quality standards, processes, and policies to achieve and maintain accreditation
  • Brief the VP, Advanced Services, Quality Manager, and other management peers on a regular basis regarding throughput, quality and risk management
  • Contribute to total quality management (TQM) by gathering customer feedback and lessons learned for continuous quality improvement and Cellebrite success
  • Adhere to global standards and regional legislative requirements, including the UK Forensic Science Regulator (FSR) Code of Practice and Conduct
  • Participate in internal audits, management reviews, corrective actions, activity scope extensions, and accreditation audits
  • Integrate with the existing ISO 9001 quality management system at Cellebrite
  • Implement new business opportunities for Cellebrite digital intelligence offerings
  • Collaborate with other CAS labs, local Cellebrite functions, R&D, Technical Support in order to constantly improve processes and customer experience
Office Location:LondonEducation/Experience
  • Degree in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent, substantial laboratory or technical team management experience
  • Proven experience in technical team management relating to digital forensics, production/manufacturing environments, or testing/calibration laboratories
  • Recent experience as a digital forensics manager in an ISO 17025 accredited environment – advantage
Skills/Knowledge
  • Thorough knowledge of competency-based performance management principles
  • Quality management system, case management system, document control system, etc. for effective implementation of supervisory controls and quality audit
  • Committed and enthusiastic about meeting law enforcement customer needs
  • “Can do” personality, adaptive and able to work independently
  • Quick learner, tech-savvy, solid attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
Additional Position Details
  • This is a unique position, which will require, above and beyond the management background, a highly trusted professional with 5 years of UK residency for security vetting eligibility
  • Work on-site daily in Cellebrite offices in West London (Hammersmith)
  • Regional and international travel to global Cellebrite labs and customer locations – up to 10%
  • Background checks for this position will be extensive, and interviewers will consist of several stakeholders
