Crimson seeks to mobilize businesses. We are looking to hire an apprentice in our IT department to provide high-quality support to our colleagues and customers, to enable them to carry out their daily duties.

L3 IT Solutions Technician Apprentice

This is a rewarding and diverse role that will give you on the job training and allow you to work towards gaining nationally accredited qualifications on a Level 3 Apprenticeship program as an IT Solutions Technician. As part of Crimson Tides IT team you will enjoy a close and a supportive work environment, providing technical support for all who use the network. This job role will support all hardware, software, operating systems and network infrastructure items.

Apprenticeship Overview

Expected duration: 18 months
Apprenticeship level: Advanced (Level 3)
Programme: L3 Information Communications Technician

During this apprenticeship, you will follow a fully supported training programme with The Apprentice and Training Partnership, delivered through combined classroom-based training, workplace assessment/training and online learning.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

· Responding to Customer Support requests via our ticket system Jira using telephone, email and the Jira Portal.

· Ensuring service requests and incidents are prioritised by urgency and impact to the customer.

· Creating and maintaining customer documentation on Guides and FAQs as well as internal documentation for staff.

· Keeping tickets up to date with detailed investigation taken and ensuring customers are responded to in good time and they are always kept up to date on the progress of their tickets.

· Assist with Office 365 administration and Microsoft Intune management for internal staff.

Desired skills:

Requirements

You are required to have 5 GCSE’s 9-4 grades or equivalent including English and Maths to apply for this type of apprenticeship. If you do not have these grades but have completed numeracy and literacy Key Skills/Functional Skills at level two you may also apply for these apprenticeships

You must meet the following eligibility criteria to apply for the role:

- Be at least 16 years of age

- Have been a UK/EEA resident for the last 3 years

- Hold valid residency status

- Have the right to work in the UK
