Job description

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Maths/Physics Tutors to work with KS3/4/5 students. This is a very rewarding role working with small groups and 1:1 students to help build their confidence and focus on the areas where they most need it.   • You will need to plan and deliver lessons
  • Have knowledge of national curriculum and different exam board specifications
  • Have the ability to tailor lessons to each pupils’ needs
  • Show awareness and understanding of pupils’ abilities and learning needs
  • Demonstrate patience and enthusiasm
  • Be able to build positive relationships with pupils while maintaining professional boundaries
  • Complete progress reports after each session
  • Awareness of safeguarding protocols
  • Fully qualified teacher status or relevant degree qualified
  • Previous experience of teaching or tutoring
  • Have a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
