SummaryKington St Michael CE Primary School is a small village school located just outside Chippenham. We are a popular school in an attractive rural setting, where expectations are high and standards consistently good. KSM is “an Outstanding school” (Ofsted, November 2014) and an Outstanding Church School (SIAMS, October 2016).
We are seeking a kind, ambitious, talented and enthusiastic class teacher, with at least three year’s recent relevant teaching experience.
The Successful Candidate Will
- Will be a creative, enthusiastic, inspiring and dedicated teacher who is able to work effectively teaching a mixed year 4 and year 5 class. Experience and understanding of the year 4 and year 5 curriculum.
- Will be someone with high expectations and a commitment to securing outstanding progress for all learners across all curricululm areas
- Will be someone who shares our Christian ethos and passion for children’s learning and can identify with the vision and values of our school
- Will be keen to make a significant contribution to the wider life of the school including involvement in extra-curricular activities
- Recognises that each day matters to every child
- Will be a team player, keen to get involved and have a good sense of humour!
- Enthusiastic and happy children who have excellent attitudes to life and learning
- A positive family of experienced colleagues who will support and challenge you and who are committed to securing outstanding progress for all learners across all subjects.

Contract type: Fixed-term (01/09/2021 to 31/12/2021) (Likelihood of this becoming permanent)
