BMR Solutions are currently recruiting for Skilled Mechanical technicians to work for our client who are a large engineering / manufacturing company located in Clevedon, North Somerset.

Position: Skilled Mechanical

Location: Clevedon, Somerset

Contract: On-Going

Hours: 06:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00 Monday to Friday (37.5 hour week)

Rates

Basic: £14.62-£15.89 PAYE // £16.25 UMBRELLA

Excellent Overtime rates

Sector: Mechanical / Fitting / Assembly / Manufacturing / Production / Engineering

Skills Required
  • Assembling and Fitting machinery / systems in the form of cabinets and frames.
  • Mechanical Sub-Assembly.
  • Experience assembling pumps, valves, motors, hydraulics & pneumatics etc.
  • Use of hand tools - spanners, wrenches, screwdrivers etc.
  • The ability to work from mechanical engineering drawings / diagrams.
  • Industrial plumbing / pipe work.
  • Basic electrical assembly (beneficial).
The Successful Candidate Will
  • Preferably be apprenticed / time served and will have worked within a busy cell manufacturing / production environment previously.
  • Be expected to work both on their own and / or as part of a cell / team.
  • Be enthusiastic and willing to work to high quality standards.
  • Be neat and methodical in their work.
