Currently the team is working remotely. Once COVID restrictions ease, you’ll need to be in our Head Office in Swindon on average one/two days per week. Occasional travel to Trust properties nationwide will also be required.

This is a 2 year Fixed Term Contract

What it’s like to work here

You’ll be part of the Support and Revenue Directorate which is home to all of our Membership, Fundraising and Commercial activity. It’s an energetic, fun and fast paced directorate to work in. The role will sit in the Operations team alongside a cohort of brilliant project and product managers. The Operations team lead for ‘Making it Happen’ and you’ll be well supported and connected to the people you’ll need to make the programme a success.

The Programme supports an important commercial objective to support high return investments and a more efficient delivery model. Given its importance and high profile the role will be delivering to the Commercial Director who chairs the Commercial Investment Board.

What you’ll be doing

We are looking for an experienced programme manager to lead a group of projects to deliver capital investment in our commercial business. The projects will span our Holidays, Retail and Food and Beverage businesses nationally so there will be a large group of stakeholders to manage and lots of lessons to learn & apply. The role will involve recruiting and leading a team; working with an established Commercial Investment Board; building a pipeline of investment opportunities, defining specific relationships with all stakeholders and overseeing delivery of investment in a complex stakeholder environment.

Professionally qualified in project/programme management you will have experience of successfully delivering end to end project/programme management including defining resources, securing project teams and matrix management. You will be able to demonstrate that you can work on your own initiative and be comfortable working in a geographically dispersed matrix environment supporting several projects and programmes at any one time. In addition, you will possess excellent communication, problem solving and influencing skills and be confident liaising with Senior Leaders. Prior experience delivering programmes/projects of capital investment is essential.
