Registered Manager job in Truro, Full time permanent position supporting adults with autism.

Your new role
As the Manager in the home your primary concern is the safety, welfare and happiness of the people in your care. This depends on you and your team carrying out your duties with attention to policies and procedures, regulatory and statutory obligations.

The manager participates in and oversees the running of the home, delegating duties where appropriate.But above all, the focus of everyone who works for Spectrum are the autistic people for whom we provide care services and how we can encourage them to take part in planning their lives, to make choices, participate in community activities and be valued members of society. Good management and leadership are crucial to these aims.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Level 5 or equivalent in Health and Social Care management is essential
  • Strong understanding or Autistic Spectrum Disorder and associated behaviour traits is also essential
  • Thorough understanding of CQC guidelines and how to lead a team to success following those guidelines is essential.
  • A lead from the front attitude and desire to see others succeed is essential.
