Monarch Education are looking for aQualified Teacherto work in a Primary School inClevedon.The school will consider bothECT &final year students. The role is a fantastic opportunity for Teachers looking for a change or for newly qualified teachers just starting your career in education! This is a brilliant Primary school based in Clevedon. The school has excellent facilities, great transport links and an on-site secure car park.

The Ideal Candidate Will
  • QTS or QTLS
  • Have the ability and knowledge to teach primary school pupils
  • Be highly organised with excellent communication skills
  • Have a desire to work with, inspire and support children from all needs and backgrounds
  • Have excellent behaviour management skills
  • Understand the expectations against the Teachers Standards
Main Responsibilities
  • Teaching a variety of subjects to primary pupils
  • Planning lessons and activities for whole class learning and group learning
  • Supporting SEND children with their work in a class setting
  • Managing difficult behaviours and implementing the school behaviour policy
  • Safeguarding vulnerable pupils
  • Possible supervising on lunch and break times
  • Supporting and managing teaching assistants within the classroom
  • Building relationships with staff and pupils
  • Collecting evidence of pupils work to support their assessments
  • Feedback to the relevant member of staff about the pupils progress
  • To have pastoral responsibility for a group of pupils
  • Potentially lead in a subject area
  • Ensure a team approach to education with stakeholders such as parents and carers
