TFS Healthcare is seeking a experienced, highly skilled Biomedical Scientist for a new, rewarding opportunity.

Band 5 Biomedical Scientist required for roles available in the West Midlands in Microbiology.

Biomedical Scientist Job description:

As a Biomedical Scientist in Pathology the post holder is responsible for the delegated tasks required for the delivery of a fit-for-purpose medical laboratory service analysing and reporting on, blood, urine, faeces and other body materials to achieve the objectives of efficient and effective patient care, and effective resource management within the hospital.

Subject to contract, training and competence assessment, the post holder may discharge analytical duties either working alone or as part of a small team

As a Biomedical Scientist, you will need to hold the following requirements:

  • 2 - 4 years minimum experience in the field of Pathology
  • Must have UK based pathology experience
  • Must be HCPC registered
  • Must have full right to work in the UK
  • Experience working out of hours (nights and weekends, lone working) Desirable
