This Role

Are you creative, passionate and looking to build a career in design in one of the largest privately owned timber companies, then we want to hear you!

We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for an experienced and creative Kitchen Design Consultant to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. Based in our MGM Timber branch Grangemouth, the successful applicant will be responsible for designing and selling bespoke kitchens, working with some of the most prestigious brands and products in the industry.

Key elements of the role will include;

  • Accurately producing quotes, based on customers’ requirements, including appliance and accessories (taps/handles/lighting) and processing sales
  • Signing off and placing orders for kitchens and accessories
  • Maintaining product design knowledge – new products and accessories on the market and also understanding the market trends
  • Actively maintaining and developing existing customer accounts and relationships
  • Proactively targeting new accounts
  • Understanding the features and benefits of a fully rigid built, high quality German kitchen and an ability to sell these benefits and ensure client satisfaction leading to repeat business and lots of recommendations
  • Complete all Kitchen related administration

Our Perfect Candidate

You will have a flair for design and ideally have prior experience using Winner Kitchen Design software or similar. You will have an eye for detail, a natural organiser, great communicator and be able to build relationships with colleagues, clients & architects.

Working hours are five days a week although being flexible in accordance with our customers would be essential. We offer a great work, life balance due to being within the Trade Supply Only Environment.
